On Tuesday 27th November, Professor Denise Morrey and Dr Stephen Samuel of MEMS, along with Andrew Baxter and Jim Campbell from RBDO, attended the TSB IDP 8 and 9 Low Carbon Vehicles Networking Event at the Gaydon Heritage Motor Centre.

As part of the main session, Professor Morrey gave a 3-minute pitch on the research activities in MEMS, and in the afternoon she ran a workshop on Light-weighting and Structures. Dr Samuels also ran a workshop, on Internal Combustion Engines. Presentations and delgate lists from the event can be downloaded from the Event Website.

There were over 450 delegates at the event, which gave details on the new IDP 8 and 9 calls, which were launched in January 2013.
