The Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (MEMS) is a friendly, close knit community of staff and students on the Wheatley Campus. Our environment combines technical expertise with creativity and imagination. We offer modern, state-of-the-art workshops, laboratories and computer facilities. Our professionally accredited courses have also been developed in response to the needs of the real world. Our courses are underpinned by a strong presence in research. Several of our research groups have strong international and national reputations and close contacts with major companies.
